Pakie Ryan - Manager and Sound/Lighting Engineer

Group Manager and sound/ lighting engineer with over 16 years experience in the music industry .Pat brings an unparalleled approach to creating the perfect atmosphere for you and your guests and makes sure everything goes smoothly on the night. Pat is a native of Cashel, Co.Tipperary as are his sons TJ, John & Patrick.

TJ Ryan - Lead Vocals & Bass Guitar

TJ was only 9 when he won County & Munster Medals for Irish Music with Ceoltas Ceolteoirí Éireann He also gained a comprehensive knowledge of music from his time involved in Cashel Folk Group and Cashel Brass Band.

Like his brothers he has been performing to the public for the past 16 years and therefore has a wealth of experience at handling weddings and functions and is the bands MC. As well as playing Bass Guitar he is a dab hand at the Tin Whistle.

John began his musical career early having won County & Munster Medals for Ceoltais Ceoltori Eireann at the age of 10. In addition to having been involved in both Cashel Folk Group, Cashel Brass Band and the CBS School Band he has Royal Academy of Music Grades 1 – 9 on Piano and Trumpet.

John has been performing in the public function, pub and wedding circuit along with his two brothers since he was 16 and is charged with sorting the bands repertoire on any given night. With the ability to “read the crowd” you can be sure you will be on the floor all night long.

Patrick Ryan - Electric Guitar & Backing Vocals

Patrick is the youngest of the three brothers and his specialty is electric guitar. He too was a member of Ceoltais Ceoltori Eirann, Cashel Folk Group and Cashel Brass Band since he was 8 years old. Patricks musical influences include Gary Moore, Brian May and Phil Lynot although he is restricted to performing these at home!! He too has been performing with the group since its earliest beginnings back in 1990 when he was 14.

Mick Butler - Drums/Percussion

Mick is a native of Ballyfoyle, Co.Kilkenny and has been playing drums since he was 10 years old. Mick graduated from Cork School of Music with Honours and has been performing in the Kilkenny music circuit for the past 12 years. He was an original member of “Overload” a group from Kilkenny which toured extensively in the mid 1990’s.
