About SOUTHBOUND |

SOUTHBOUND are a Cashel based dance band originally formed by three brothers John, TJ and Patrick Ryan. The brothers have been performing since 1990 and in 1994 were runners up in the Garveys Rose of Tralee Music International. In 1995 they were chosen BEST NEW BAND at the annual Tipperary Midwest Radio Awards. SOUTHBOUND was formed in 1996 with a view to specialising in Weddings, Parties and Corporate Entertainment.

The Band consists of TJ Ryan (lead vocals &bass guitar) John Ryan (keyboards & backing vocals), Patrick Ryan (electric guitar & backing vocals) all from Cashel, Co. Tipperary and Mick Butler (Drums) hails from Ballyfoyle, Co.Kilkenny. Pat Ryan looks after professional sound & lighting as well as being group Manager.
With over 10 years experience providing music for Weddings, Socials, Festivals, Parties and Corporate events we have earned a reputation for great music and personalized service.

Musically the group perform everything from country, old time , rock n roll and all the classics from the sixties to the noughties with a bit of Irish thrown in for good measure. (A full repertoire and brochure is available on request).
SOUTHBOUND currently perform weddings throughout Tipperary, Clare, Limerick, Cork, Kilkenny & Waterford with distance being no problem due to the Bands Mercedes GIG RIG which is often seen on the roads of Ireland.
